Georgia on my Mind

In May we headed east on our annual trip to the great state of Georgia to visit Jared's family.  This trip would be our first time flying with three children and I was a little nervous about it, but it turned out to be our smoothest, easiest, drama-free travel experience yet.  Hallie and Charlie are great travelers as long as they have movies to watch and lots of snacks to eat.  Maggie didn't cry once the entire flight (have I mentioned what a great baby she is) which made the flight much more enjoyable for me!

We usually stick to the same itinerary every time we go to Georgia.  We always make a few trips to Chick-fil-a (our favorite), spend lots of time shopping at the outlet mall, and we had such a great time at the Georgia Aquarium last year that we decided to go back again this time.  And of course our other favorite thing to do is spend as much time as possible with Jared's family.  Our kids always get spoiled to death on our trips to Georgia and this year was no different.  I'm pretty sure they loved every minute of it!

Our car service picked us up in a white stretch limo to take us to the airport.  I guess it was the only car they had that was big enough to fit a family of five.  Our kids thought it was the coolest thing ever!
Hallie and Charlie spent almost all of their time on the trip playing in Nana's sun room.  They would wake up every morning and head straight there.
We took a walk one evening down by this beautiful river.  It was so fun but so hot and humid!  We are so not used to the humidity and felt like were melting in that heat.  Even the kids were complaining about being sweaty.  Luckily the scenery made up for the southern heat.

Our second trip to the amazing Georgia Aquarium
We loved seeing those massive whale sharks again!
Four generations..... I think Charlie was taking a nap so he missed out on the picture.
