At the beginning of the summer I made a "to-do" list of some fun activities that I wanted to do together as a family before the end of the summer. We weren't doing too well with our list, in fact, by the end of June nothing had been crossed off the list yet. So the first Saturday in July we decided to take a day trip to see Snoqualmie Falls and to take a train ride through the towns of Snoqualmie and North Bend.
We had such a great day together. It had been almost four years since we'd been to Snoqualmie Falls and we had forgotten how amazing it was. The weather that day was perfect, the falls were absolutely beautiful, and the train ride was so relaxing and fun. I'm always glad when we take opportunities to enjoy the beauty we're surrounded by in western Washington. And I was also so excited to finally check one thing off our summer "to-do" list!
