Our Week at the Oregon Coast

Well, we finally went on our "official" family vacation for the year earlier this month. We spent a week on the Oregon Coast and had a great time. Neither Jared or I had ever been there before so it was something new for both of us. We rented this beautiful house in Rockaway Beach and shared it with my family from Boise who joined us for the week. We really took it easy all week and didn't do too much which is why I think we had such a good time. We took full advantage of all of the fun things the house had to offer and made a few trips to the beach as well as spending an afternoon at the Tillamook Cheese Factory and a day walking around downtown Cannon Beach. As usual I made it home without a picture of all our family together but they were a big part of what made our week so much fun. We're thinking we need to start making the coast an annual trip. The weather was beautiful the scenery was awesome and the company was great!

Our little family at Rockaway Beach. If you can't tell from my hair... it was a little windy.

You can see Twin Rocks in the distance

We went to the beach to watch the sunset one night. It was one of my favorite things we did all week. It was so pretty, cold, but pretty.

The cutest little cow in Tillamook Oregon.

There were lots of cows to pose with at the cheese factory.

I know wearing socks at the beach is a major fashion no-no but it was cold outside.

Hallie and Spencer spent lots of time together playing in the sand.

This is one of the few pictures I took in downtown Cannon Beach. There were beautiful flowers like this everywhere.
