At the beginning of August the kids and I went to Boise and spent about ten days there seeing family and friends. Every time I get home from a Boise trip I am so mad at myself for not taking enough pictures. This time was no different. It just seems like we are so busy while I'm there that I always forget to capture our adventures on the camera. We had a really fun time doing all the usual things we do in Boise. It was great to spend time with my family and see a lot of old friends. It's been a long time since I've lived there and I keep waiting for my love of Boise to go away but it's still strong as ever. I love that place and I'm still keeping hope alive that we'll end up there someday... we'll see.

My mom bought a "Big Wheel" for the kids to ride on but Hallie's legs weren't quite long enough to push the pedals. At least she looks cool!

Charlie had a good time on it also

Charlie discovered the piano at Papa's house and was just tall enough to reach the keys.

We had a picnic at the park one day and this was my best shot of the cousins together. Not great I know, but at least no one is crying.

The park we went to has all these fun water features for kids. I didn't put swimsuits on my kids because I didn't think it was going to be warm enough to get in the water. Turns out it was really warm so they got to get wet with their clothes on. Good thing Hallie's shirt was long enough to cover her undies!

Charlie loved the water. He played in it long enough for his diaper to get very big and saggy.

Looks like fun. Is Charlie already walking? He looks pretty agile, standing on the big wheel. Porter has that same big wheel, and though his feet can touch the pedals, he refuses to use them. Oh well.
