Insights into snow
This picture was taken about a month ago, and I know this post is very outdated, but I had to share some of Hallie's recent insights into snow. She is at that age where she is starting to say the funniest things and it's so interesting to hear her perspectives on life. Our first snow storm of the season was in December and I rushed Hallie to the window as soon as she woke up so she could look at the snow. I thought she'd be really excited but her only response was, "It's messy outside." Moving on to the second snow storm of the season, I asked Hallie if she wanted to go outside and play in the snow and she said, "No, I don't want to get my hands sticky." That's our Hallie for you. She is very neat and hates to get her hands dirty or sticky. In fact, she usually goes through a number of napkins during each meal because she wipes her hands after every couple of bites. We're pretty sure she's not going to be the outdoorsy type when she grows up, and we've ruled out professional snowboarding as a possible career path.
