Going to the Puyallup fair has become a fun tradition for our family since we've moved to Washington. This year Jared just happened to be out of the country for a few weeks in September, so my mom saved my sanity and came to stay with me for part of the time he was gone. She filled in for Jared so we could take the kids to the fair on opening day. This year was the most fun we've ever had because Charlie was finally big enough to ride the rides. Well, technically he was an inch or two shorter than he was supposed to be so I had to fib a little bit to get him on all the rides. I only had a couple of fair employees question me and give me the evil eye! Besides the lying on my part, it was definitely another successful year at the fair!
The kids loved seeing these baby piglets but I felt so bad for this poor momma pig.
It hurt me just watching her!
Thank you Mom for coming to visit while Jared was away. It was fun as always and so nice for me to have some help!
