Visitors!

We got lucky a few weeks ago when my mom, sister-in-law, and her kids came out and stayed with us for a few days.  Spencer and Emma are the only cousins my kids have and they don't get to see each other nearly as often as I'd like, so it was so fun to have them come for a quick visit.  Hallie was in heaven and loved every minute she got to spend with them.  Things got a little crazy at times but overall the kids all played really well together.  It was fun for me also to get to spend some time with my mom and sister-in-law and to have some company while Jared was gone. 

Our big adventure for the week was taking the kids to Point Defiance Zoo.  We had a great time and ended up spending most of the day there.  Here are just a few pictures from our week together...

Hallie and Spencer just couldn't keep their hands off each other.  They looked like boyfriend and girlfriend in every picture together.  It was so cute though (and very innocent of course).  I'm sure they'll be completely humiliated when they're older and see these pictures.

There were so many of these peacocks just roaming around the zoo.  It was pretty amazing to watch when they would fan open their tail feathers.

Charlie fell face-first into the ground at the kiddie play area and as the day progressed it looked worse and worse.  By the end of the day he looked pretty swollen and beat up. Poor guy.

We saw yet another peacock with his feathers on display on our way out of the zoo.
