Happy Birthday to Me!

I turned 28 on Sunday (the 19th) and I had a really nice birthday weekend. My gift from Jared was a full day of shopping all by myself with no kids, no husband, and no time constraints. It was wonderful! Jared and the kids met me for dinner at The Cheesecake Factory and we came home to celebrate with our usual Ben & Jerry's ice cream cake. It was a really great day. Shopping, dinner at my favorite restaurant, and Chocolate Fudge Brownie ice cream are all included on my list of things for a perfect day!

28! You are still a baby! I 'm glad you had a fun day, I like the sound of getting a day of solitary shopping as a birthday present! That might be what i'll be asking for for my next birthday!
happy birthday!

What a dream, all day to do whatever you wanted? Now how about a rundown of what you got for your birthday...wink wink. :)

Wow- that is a great birthday gift. I've had friends get that same gift from their husbands and they said it is absolutely wonderful! I think it is every woman's dream. Sounds like you had a great time. Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday and 28 is the perfect age to just stay! I love Jared's gift, I bet it felt so good to just relax and look at stuff without running to the bathroom every five minutes and telling kids to get out of the clothes racks!!!

Happy belated birthday. It sounds like you had a wonderful day! What a way to celebrate your birthday! I will have to remember that when my b-day comes around again. I love your blog. It is darling & you have such cute posts. I read your post about the italian soda party & I am so sorry we couldn't make it. Unfortunately we had family in town when you had the party. What a bummer though to go through so much trouble & have the disappointment of having people cancel last minute. That happened to us once with Adalyn's birthday. I had 13 kids RSVP that they would be at her birthday, and the morning of her 3rd b-day party everyone canceled on us except for one family that had a little one year old daughter. Talk about disappointment. Talk to you soon!
