Halloween Festivities

We had such a fun Halloween this year. Hallie is finally old enough that she really understands what's going on and gets so excited about everything. She is also finally overcoming a lot of her fears so there were no meltdowns this year. There was a scary guy at the trunk or treating activity, and there were a few scary houses in the neighborhood, but we just avoided those things and didn't let them ruin the night. Hallie chose her costume this year (a pink poodle) and Charlie wore Hallie's old pea pod costume. Jared dressed as a vet on Halloween and took Hallie to work with him as one of his patients. She had a great time passing out candy to his customers and spending the day with daddy. The weather was perfect on Halloween night and it was so nice to walk around the neighborhood as a family and just enjoy the evening. Hallie was a pro at trick or treating and I could tell she was loving every minute of it. Here's a few pictures of our Halloween fun:

I just love that poodle costume! I only saw it in baby sizes at the store, but it's so adorable on Hallie. Charlie looks so cute too! Glad you guys had a fun time trick or treating.
