Beautiful Hawaii

Jared and I just got back from a week spent on the big island of Hawaii and we had such a great time. My mom and grandma were nice enough to fly out to Washington and spend the week with Hallie so that we could have a "child-free" vacation. We took very few pictures while we were there because we spent most of our time by the pool. Jared did do some hard-core snorkeling one day, but other than that we just soaked up the sun, went to the spa a few times, ate lots of good food, and just relaxed. Here are a few pictures to prove we were there, but they're not too exciting...
by the shore in Kona

the real Hawaii- a whole lot of lava rock

a picture of the road on the way to our resort

luckily the resort was a little more lush than the rest of the island
having breakfast by the ocean- my favorite part of the trip

I am green with envy but glad you two had a fun time. The childless vacation looks like a good idea.
