After Maggie was born Jared was able to take four weeks of paternity leave and be home with our family. I desperately needed his help, so I was so happy that he was able to take so much time off work. We thought with a full month together that we would have lots of time to do some fun family outings, but I don't think we fully understood how busy life with three kids would be. Finally, the weekend before Jared had to go back to work we made it out of the house and took the kids to a few of their favorite places.

And a day spent downtown Seattle doing more of our favorite things.... going to the aquarium and walking around the market.
We even lucked out and went on a day with beautiful, sunny weather. I love these pictures of the kids. I think they were so excited to finally be out of the house!
