Last year at this time I never would have believed that we would have a picture of Hallie sitting on Santa's lap. She is definitely overcoming her shyness and turning into such a social butterfly. She did start to meltdown when it was our turn to approach Santa, but I quickly reminded her that she needed to be a brave big sister and help Charlie so he wouldn't be scared. That seemed to do the trick, and she immediately stopped crying. Santa asked her what she wanted for Christmas and she told him a dollhouse. She tells everyone she meets that she is asking for a dollhouse for Christmas, so I was glad that her story didn't change when it really counted. Anyway, it was such a sweet moment and Jared and I were so proud of her. She kept telling us all day how brave she was. It is so fun to experience Christmas through a child's eyes. Cute little Charlie was just along for the ride!

Adorable (and a great Santa to boot)! What a good big sister. I wish I could get Porter to tell me what he wants for Christmas. Whenever I ask, he looks at whatever he's playing with at the time and says that. If he's not playing, he just asks for candy. He gets that from me. Anyway, cute story, cute kids - looks like things are shaping up for a fun Christmas in the Schrum home.
What an adorable picture! We need to pop on over to visit your Santa. He's the best one I've seen yet. Good to see you guys when you were here. Hope you return for XMas
Okay that is absolutely darling . . she looks thrilled to be up there and I sure hope Santa has that dollhouse in his sack come Christmas time! That's a great picture.
Jaime,
Sorry, but I forgot!! Tonight I remembered to look at your blog. Fun picture--send me a copy in email if you can. I am watching the roads each day and hoping and praying that you can come at Christmas. We love you all!
